Gerald Beam Williams, 72, of 111 Harrilson Rd., died Tuesday Aug. 9, 2011 at his residence. He was born on Jan. 1, 1939 a son of the late James and Charity Beam Williams. Mr. Williams was a member of the First Wesleyan Church and a veteran of the US Army. He was the former owner of Offset Printing Co.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Judith Williams.

 

Survivors are his daughter Chauna Gildersleeve and husband Mark, sons Jeff and Jon Williams, a sister Reschia Wagner and husband Bill, and two grandchildren Kerstyn, and Bryan Mykel McKnight. 

A Memorial service will be held Sunday at 4 PM at the First Wesleyan Church with Rev. Mark Poe officiating. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends at the church Sunday from 3-3:45 PM.

 

The family request in lieu of flowers Memorial be made to First Wesleyan Church, 800 N. Pink Street, Cherryville.
