Fred W. Richey, Jr., age 60 of 108 Guffey Road, died Saturday, November 13, 2010 at his residents. Fred was a born on December 19, 1949, in Corsicana, Texas, the son of Hattie Cruthers Richey, of Richland, Miss., and the late Fred W. Ritchey, Sr. He was a member of The Church of Jersus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Shelby and was retired on disability from Lowes , Shelby, N. C. as Security Manager. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Tom Richey.
Survivors: In addition to his mother, he is survived by his Wife: Bobbie Jean Hales Richey, of the home, two sons : Fred William Richey III and wife Shelly of Raleigh, N. C. Jason Richey, of Cherryville, Daughters: Victoria Richey, and Brittanie Richey , both of Cherryville. Brothers: Bill Richey of Philippines, David Richey, of Richland, Miss., Sam Richey, of Petal, Miss. Sisters: Carolyn Conway of Richland, Miss. , Freda Jensen of Idaho
A memorial service will be held in Richland, Mississippi At a later date.
The family will receive friends at the home on Guffey Road this week.
