Frankie Ann Helms Beam, age 74, of 358 Bristol Street, Florence, S. C., a native and former resident of Cherryville, died, Thursday, November 18, 2010 at the Bethea Baptist Health Care, Darlington, S. C. Frankie was born December 28, 1935, the daughter of the late Junius Clyde and Bertha Dellinger Helms. A life time Christian and Baptist, she was a gifted musician and Sunday school teacher, a loving wife, caring mother and grandmother, she spent as much of her life in church as possible. Frankie was preceded in death by seven brothers and sisters. Aileen Barger, Jackie Eaker, Mabel Clemmer, Inez Carpenter, Paul Helms, J. C. Helms, and Jim Helms.

Son and his spouse: Brent and Melody Beam, of Charleston, S. C.
Daughters and spouses: Rhonda and John Avant of Florence, Julie and Charlie Sander of Mt. Pleasant, S. C. Sister: Bobbie H. Childers of Cherryville, N. C.
Grandchildren: Christie Davies and husband James, Brandon Avant, Meredith Sander, Heath Beam, Brooks Avant. Great Grandchildren; Charlotte Davies and Riley Davies. Sisters-In-Law: Sue Helms, Jane Helms and Patricia Beam all of Cherryville, Joyce Beam, of Fallston, N. C. A numerous number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 3;00 PM Sunday, November 21, 2010 at Mount Baptist Church, with Rev. Wayne Key and Rev. Laneir Singleton officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00PM to 8:00PM Saturday at Carpenter’s Funeral Home, Cherryville.
