Eunice Elizabeth Brooks Ferrell, 95 of 2413 Hwy 274, formerly of N. Oakland St., Dallas died Saturday Feb. 13, 2010 at Lincoln Nursing Center.
Mrs. Ferrell was born in York Co., SC on Sept. 6, 1914 a daughter of the late Charlie and Beatty Elliott Brooks. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Dallas and retired from J. P. Stevens in Dallas.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband in 1993 Stewart Lindsay Ferrell, a daughter Jacqueline Hand in 2009, twelve brothers and sisters and a daughter-in-law Ann Ferrell.
Survivors include her son Charles Ferrell and wife Maxine of Cherryville, five grandchildren, five great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 3 PM at Carpenter’s Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Holtsclaw officiating with burial in Gaston Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Monday at the funeral home from 1:30-2:45 PM and at other times at the home.
