Diane June Bess Dedmon Campbell, 46 of 316 Neal Rd., died February 14, 2010 at her residence.
She was born in Freemont Nebraska on June 30, 1963 daughter of the late Clyde Keith and Mary Jeanette Garrett Bess. Diane was a member of the Bessemer City Church of God and employed by American Effrid, Mt. Holly for 21 years.
She is survived by her husband Cecil Campbell, son Jonathan Pack, daughters Beth Dedmon both of the home, Sheena Campbell, Jennifer Campbell and Haley Campbell all of Mooresboro, sisters Lynn Bess Gray and husband Mike of Rock Hill, Joy Whittington and husband Kevin of Bessemer City, two brothers Michael Bess, of Bessemer City, and Bobby Blanton and wife Monica of Gastonia, and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 PM at the Bessemer City Church of God with Rev. Harold Ashe officiating with burial in Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6-8 PM at Carpenter’s Funeral Home and at other times at the home.
