Charles E. Duke, 82 of 325 Pine Avenue died April 3 2009 at Lincoln
Medical Center. Mr. Duke was born December 27, 1926 a son of the late
David Ernest and Edith Ware Duke in Gaston County. He was retired from
American Efird Mills, Mt. Holly Plant.
Survivors include a sister, Mary D. Mauney, Cherryville and three
nephews, Rick Mauney, Cherryville, David Mauney, Roswell, GA., Tony
Littlejohn, Gaffney, S.C. one niece, Susan Brackett, Charlotte, NC.
Graveside services will be Monday, April 6, 2009 at 11:00 AM at
Greenwood Cemetery in Gastonia with Rev. Leonard Bumgardner officiating
and burial will follow the service.
The family will receive friends at the home anytime.
