Barbara “Bobbie” Ann Darty Lingerfelt, 59, of 1313 Meandering Lane, died April 26, 2010 at her residence.
She was born in Cleveland Co. on March 11, 1951 a daughter of the late George and Irene Ingle Darty. Bobbie was employed by Lincoln Co. Schools in the before and aftercare school program.
She is survived by her husband of 30 years Junior Lingerfelt, daughter Stacey Elizabeth Bridges and husband Joseph of Lincolnton, son Herman Ricky Carpenter, Jr. and wife Leigh Ann of Kings Mountain, step daughter Donna Sain and husband Mike of Lincolnton, two grandchildren Tyler Carpenter, and Joecey Bridges, three step grandchildren Jonathan , Lindsey and Lauren Sain, sisters Judy Cable and husband Terry and Robin Morrison and husband Keith both of Kings Mountain and a brother Todd Darty of Cherryville.
Funeral services will be held at Carpenter’s Funeral Home Thursday at 3 PM with Rev. Ray Pennell officiating with burial in City Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 1:30-2:45 PM and at other times at the home.
