Beverly Sue Barrett Carroll age 71 of Cherryville died Oct., 14, 2011 at Kings Mountain Hospice House. She was the daughter of the late Purvis Barrett and Vernie Eleanor Sipes Barrett, born February 16, 1940 in Shelby, N. C.
She is survived by 1 sister, Rachel Faye Barrett and 6 Brothers: Bill P. Barrett, W. Lawrence Barrett, Ronnie D. Barrett, Johnny M. Barrett, Freddie E. Barrett and Jerry W. Barrett.
She was the wife of the late Jerry Wayne Carroll, Sr., Married on October 9th 1956 in her hometown of Shelby, N. C. She has three Children: Vernie Gail Carroll of Cherryville, N. C. Jerry Wayne Carroll, Jr.: Donna Lynn Carroll Keaton and her husband, Grfegory Spence Keaton of Flowery Branch, Ga.
She is the grandmother of Jessica Leigh Keaton , Anna Shae Keaton and Jerry Spence Keaton all of Flowery Branch, Ga.
She also had a sweet, loving dog named Shaylee whom she spoiled rotton.
She was a long time and faithful member of Missionary Methodist Church in Cherryville, N. C. where her memorial services will be held, Monday Oct. 17, 2011 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Bob Holtsclaw officiating, burial to follow in the City Memorial Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00PM Sunday, Oct., 16, 2011 at Carpenter’s Funeral Home, Cherryville, N. C.
