Betty Houser Little, age 65 of 707
East Main Street, went to be with her Lord and Savior on February 19,
2009. Born in Cleveland County on May 24, 1943, she is the daughter of
the late Forrest Lee and Alene Lackey Houser. Betty was retired as a
material sorter at Bradington Young after 23 years of service, a
graduate of North Brook High School and a lifetime member of North
Brook Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Doris H. “Coot” White.

Brother and sister-in-law: Troy and Sandra Houser, of Cherryville
Sister and brothers-in-law: Kathy and Terry Yount, of Vale, Cletus White, of Cherryville
Nieces and nephews: David Houser, Todd Houser, Susan Fisher, Greg Yount, Traci King.
Great nieces and nephews: Austin Houser, Madison King, Alec Yount, Sloane Yount, Colin Yount, and Garrison Fisher.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00PM Saturday, February 21
at North Brook Baptist Church, with Rev. Ray Pennell officiating,
interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will be at the home of Kathy and Terry Yount, 6501 Lackey
Road, Vale and will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00PM, Friday,
February 20, 2009 at Carpenter’s Funeral Home.
