Mrs. Annie Arlene Stout Moose, age 92, of 4708 Straw Court, Harrisburg, N. C., formally of Cherryville died Thursday, November 17, 2011 at her daughter’s home in Harrisburg. Annie was born in Alamance County, on July 6, 1919, the daughter of the late Everett and Mary Bailey Stout. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother she was a former member of Village Garden Club, Homemakers Club, Senior Citizens Group, Golden Oldies, and Senior Citizens Bowling league and St. John’s Lutheran Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband John Franklin Moose Sr., brothers: Jack Stout, Bud Stout, Marvin Stout, Johnny Stout, Sisters: Bonnie Wood, Nell Larsen, and Ethel Payne.
Survivors: Sons: John Moose, Jr, of Pendleton, S. C., Don Everett (Deborah) Moose of Graham, N. C., Daughters: Jo Ann (Bud) Witherspoon, of Charlotte, N. C., Juanita (Tommy) Craig of Harrisburg, N. C. and Ruby Johannesen, of Greensboro, N. C., Fifteen grandchildren, Twenty Five great grandchildren and Three great great grandchildren. Brother: Everett Stout, Jr. of Snow Camp, N. C. and sister: Mrs. Gladys Thompson of Snow Camp, N. C.
Funeral Services will be conducted 11:00AM Monday November 21, 2011 at St. John’s Lutheran Church Cherryville, N. C. with Rev. Linda Bowman officiating. Burial is in the Church Cemetery.
The family will be in the fellowship hall after the funeral service.
