Annie Pearl Willis Ferrell, 70 of 2413 Hwy 274, died March 23, 2009 at her residence. She was born March 14, 1939 in Lincoln County, a daughter to the late Burgan Jacob and Bertha Cook Willis. Annie was a member of Cherryville Missionary Methodist Church and was a member of the church choir. Annie retired from GiGi of Cherryville with 39 years of service.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a son Gary Dean Willis.

Survivors include her husband of 36 years, Charles Lindsay Ferrell of the home, two stepsons, Richard Ferrell of Dallas and Dereck Ferrell of Dallas, One brother J.C. Willis of Cherryville and eight sisters, Velma Hartsoe of Lincolnton, Inez Willis of Vale, Hazel Hartsoe of Lincolnton, Ruth Ledbetter of Gastonia, Virgie Heavner of Cherryville, Kay Taylor of Cherryville, Jody Gales, Lincolnton and Brenda Cook of Lincolnton.

Funeral Services will be conducted at Cherryville Missionary Methodist Church, Thursday, March 26, 2009 at 3:00 with Rev. Bobby Holtsclaw officiating burial will follow in City Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 1:00 to 2:45 PM prior to the service and at other times at the home.
